Administration & Sales Support Assistant
Position Overview
Initially this role is expected to support the sales function of Scotia Radio Services Ltd and its subsidiary company, Scotia Connect. Candidates will be supported and developed from the outset by an existing member of the business, whose function (Accounts Assistant) you will gradually support and ultimately undertake as they move through their career. Role Objectives Within Three Months
- Capture a basic understanding of the roles and the general business expectations.
- Establish a reasonable appreciation of the internal working practices i.e. Business admin process, main customers & suppliers, supply chain process.
Within Six Months
- Establish and be reasonably confident within the sales support function.
- Accomplish basic requirement and be viewed as an effective, reliable and competent member of the business support team.
- This role has growth potential to assist and develop the accounts payable function. Ideally working towards this after 6 months.
Within Nine Months
- At least be working autonomously within the Sales support function and a large percentage of the Accounts Administration position.
- Demonstrate a working understanding & appreciation for credit control and cash flow related issues.
- Integrate sales support administration and accounts payable function into the same role
Within Twelve Months
- Become a fully competent member of staff within the realms of the job specification. Able to work in a reliable and often autonomous capacity.
- The company would ideally like to see this role develop towards an Office Supervisory function. However, this will be reviewed by both parties after 12 months.
