Scotia Radio Services is committed to providing exceptional communication solutions to our customers, yet we also believe in the power of community to improve people’s lives. We are proud to support local charities that help people in need across Scotland and our success enables us to support many worthwhile causes and give back to the community.Â
We would like to highlight our partnership with Glasgow City Mission, an organisation dedicated to tackling homelessness and poverty in Glasgow. Their vital work includes providing an overnight welcome winter shelter, a child and family centre in Govan and projects across Glasgow to help people with addiction issues, support people into suitable accommodation and to access counselling.Â
Over the past year, Glasgow City Mission supported over 500 service users by providing shelter, meals, hot drinks and much-needed assistance in finding long-term solutions to those in difficult situations. The team’s dedication and compassion are remarkable and we are privileged to work alongside this exceptional organisation.
We had the pleasure of attending Glasgow City Mission’s partners’ breakfast on Monday 17th April 2023. This fantastic event provided excellent networking opportunities to connect with various companies and individuals who share our commitment to addressing homelessness and poverty in Glasgow. It was heartening and humbling to meet like-minded organisations and witness the collective effort aimed at creating positive change within our community.
