As we bid farewell to another remarkable year, the team here at Scotia Radio Services is taking a moment to reflect on the milestones, partnerships and community commitments that have shaped the journey of Scotia Radio Services 2023. Beyond providing exceptional communication solutions, we take great pride in our dedication to making a positive impact on the community. This year has been particularly special as we continued our support for Glasgow City Mission and celebrated our 24th birthday, marking a near-quarter-century of serving our valued customers.
Supporting Glasgow City Mission
At Scotia Radio Services, our commitment to community welfare goes hand in hand with our business values. Throughout the year, we have proudly supported Glasgow City Mission, an organisation tirelessly working to address homelessness and poverty in Glasgow. Our partnership has enabled us to contribute to their communication strategy as they provide their essential initiatives, including providing overnight winter shelters, operating child and family centres and implementing projects to assist individuals with addiction issues.
Over the past year, Glasgow City Mission has assisted over 500 service users, offering shelter, meals, hot drinks and crucial support to those in challenging circumstances. The dedication and compassion exhibited by the Glasgow City Mission team have left an indelible mark on us, and we feel privileged to stand alongside them in their noble cause.
Networking at Glasgow City Mission’s Partners’ Breakfast
One highlight of our year was attending Glasgow City Mission’s partners’ breakfast on April 17th, 2023. This event provided a platform for networking with like-minded individuals and organisations dedicated to addressing homelessness and poverty in Glasgow. The collective effort witnessed during this event was not only heartening but also humbling, showcasing the power of a united community striving for positive change.

Collaboration with the Australian Cycling Team
In July 2023, Scotia Radio Services had the pleasure of hosting the Australian Cycling Team during their stay in Glasgow for the UCI Cycling Championships.
The team sought assistance with programming their radios for the upcoming cycling events, and our engineers were delighted to lend a helping hand. We wish the ARA Australian Cycling Team the best of luck in all their future endeavours, and we express our gratitude for choosing Scotia Radio Services as their communication partner during their time in Glasgow.
Celebrating 24 Years of Excellence
